In the basement of this grandstructure on July 8th, 1954, maverick radio announcer "Daddy-O-Dewey" Phillips played "That's All Right" (Elvis's first Sun Record) on the air. The folklore surrounding that night can still be felt when you enter the magazine floor of the building and visit the old control room.
